NLP Master Trainers in the World

NLP Updates

We will start with a story here. There was a trainer in X part of the world, who spent a fortune in becoming a decent NLP Trainer by learning from different NLP Trainers who had direct association with the co-founders, and were part of the original NLP associations (Richard Bandler, Tad James, John Grinder, Robert Dilts), and was asked by an association to pay GBP 20,000/- to become an NLP Master Trainer. What was the criteria? Come down (that is extra expense) to UK 5 times, and watch NLP Trainer Training being conducted, and after 5 years, you will become NLP Master Trainer with association X. Well, sounds like a plan, but whether that plan is viable that NLP associations (X, Y, Z), need to think. And who are these X, Y, Z, that is another question, whether to question them. A lot of NLP Master Trainers became NLP Master Trainers with these X, Y, Z associations by process of grand fathering (they only know what that means), there is no history of that process left, and makes that very questionable itself.

Who decides who are NLP Master Trainers? Well, earlier co-founders (Richard Bandler & John Grinder) used to decide who are the NLP Master Trainers (Richard Bandler, John Grinder, Frank Pucelik, Tad James, Robert Dilts, Judith DeLozier, Christina Hall, Steve Andreas, Connirae Andreas, Dr Wyatt Woodsmall, Dr Michael Hall, John Overdurf, Julie Silverthorn, Michael Carroll, Susie Smith), few big names which come up directly, as they learnt NLP from co-founders or co-developers, or are the co-founders and co-developers. Or are the most respected names in NLP with years of NLP background, and history to back it up with.

After that the list starts to become tricky, as some other associations have come up with their own list of NLP Master Trainers. On one hand they say that someone who has learnt directly from Richard Bandler or John Grinder, or from someone who has learnt from them directly, are qualified to be in that list. Well, some lists can be very tricky when the associations don’t follow their own set of rules, as many of the NLP Master Trainers globally do not fall into that category.

So whom to trust, and whom not to trust when it comes to NLP Master Trainers? Well, stick with the above names, and you will be safe, rest all the others can be people who have the tag (may be grandfathering, may be some politics, may be buttering up some of the master trainers in the associations — who knows), but whether they really are NLP Master Trainers or not is left up to the judgement of the participant looking to find an NLP Master Trainer, or worst you are attending an NLP Master Trainer program with someone who is not even an NLP Trainer, forget them being an NLP Master Trainer.
